General Information / Testimonials

What I love about the preschool is that there is kind teachers there. And free hugs, dress up, play dogh, colering, painting, story time -mucky pup room on the broom grufold. What I love about afterschool is food (sossagis), kind teachers, art with Majella and Rona, movies, chilling with friends in the cosy room

From Kellie (Age 8)

My two daughters attended/attend Carrigtwohill Resource Centre preschool. During their preschool journey they were supported by the wonderful staff who are extremely caring, nurturing and child centred. To blossom personally, socially and creatively. Every day I collect my youngest daughter I can hear singing or animated storytelling coming from inside the classroom. She comes out to me with a big smile on her face and full of news and chat. Her happiness validates that she in in a great preschool.

Ladies, I would like to take this opportunity first and foremost to thank you all for giving me the peace of mind that when Riley leaves me in the morning I know that he is happy. From day 1 he has absolutely loved school and each and everyone one of you. I love hearing about his day and the fun and learning he has done during those few hours. You are all doing an amazing job and treat all the children with respect and sincere compassion.

Riley has thrived in the last 18 months and his social skills have gone from strength to strength and I have all of you to thank for that. His time in your preschool has helped to improve his patience, his empathy and his understanding of how we are all different. As an extremely anxious mother I can genuinely say you made this stressful tough milestone surprisingly easy for me to get through and I can say with confidence that the transition from preschool to primary for Riley will go a lot better after his time with you all. Thank you for your time, patience, understanding and for being such an important part of Rileys life.

I first came to Carrigtwohill Family Resource Centre in 2012 with my daughter for mothers and toddlers group. I enjoyed meeting other mums and having my daughter socialise with other children. The staff were extremely friendly.

From Audrey (mother)

My son started in the afterschool programme in 2012 until 2018. I am able to go to work stress free and no worries of any kind. The staff are so friendly, kind and reassuring. I go to work so happy known my son is in a safe, happy environment. Now my two daughters are attending and I go to work with peace of mind. They love every minute whilst in afterschool. The communication is fantastic and the meals are super. I am so so happy.
